That’s my Story
The beginnings of my triathlon journey, unfortunately, stem from a very sad chapter in my life. In October 2020, my mom lost her battle against cancer. From this loss, something new emerged in me: an unwavering determination to take charge of my life, seize opportunities, and push myself beyond my limits every single day. I never wanted to look back and regret not pursuing my dreams or letting chances slip by. With this mindset, I have spent the last four years steadily working my way up in the world of triathlon.
During this difficult time, our horses and the small family farm at home gave me incredible strength. Despite the amount of work the farm required, it became a vital anchor and helped me process the grief. To this day, the deep connection with my horses provides me with inner peace and the resilience to withstand the pressures of competitive sports.
Currently, I compete for TG Viktoria Augsburg in the 2nd Triathlon Bundesliga and continue my journey with a clear focus: I want to specialize in middle- and long-distance racing. My ultimate dream is to stand at the top of the podium at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii. Whether or not that dream will come true is still written in the stars… the first stages of my journey are lying behind me.
With a clear vision and unwavering passion, I am ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead of me. I’d be honored if you joined me on this journey and become part of my success story.
News
New Coach
In the upcoming season, I will be supported by a new coach by my side. Stefan Hetzer, a former national coach and trainer of the multiple Olympic-champion Kristin Otto, will provide me with new training stimuli for the upcoming season. I am very excited about this collaboration and hope to reach a new level with his support.
New Sponsor: Therme Bad Birnbach
I am very excited to share that I will be supported by the Rottal Terme Bad Birnbach. From now on, I will be able to use the Rottal Terme’s sports pool as my new training facility. In addition to the sports pool, the Rottal Terme also offers 30 therapeutic water pools as well as several saunas and steam baths, providing relaxing thermal and sauna moments after training. I am incredibly grateful for this regional support as I continue on my athletic journey!
Lecture at Karl von Closen Gymnasium
A few weeks ago, I was invited to speak as a guest speaker in a seminar of the Karl von Closen Gymnasium in Eggenfelden. I had the opportunity to share some of my athletic experiences with the students of the W-Seminar „Achieving Goals Through Training.“ I wish the students all the best for the future and keep my fingers crossed that they will achieve their athletic goals!
